The Zoo has more than 100 residents with origins from around the world. Some are in rehabilitation and will be released or placed with others Zoos or caring organizations. Others not suitable for release or replacement have a permanent safe home at Spruce Haven and receive the attention needed to be happy.

Spruce Haven Zoo is a family attraction featuring a picturesque wildlife section with animals uncommon to our area. Also a fun-filled and interesting Petting Area exhibiting unusual miniature farm animals.

The residents in our Zoo include:
Rhea (Ostrich): native to South America,
Llamas: native to South America, very friendly,domesticated mammal,
Rare Ibex Mountain Goats: native to Southeast Russia,Yak: native to Tibet,Jungle Cat, African Lion, Japanese Sika and Fallow Deer, Cougars: Scan and Yuma, Arctic Wolves: Symba and Titan, Foxes, Raccoons, Ferrets, Peacocks, Ducks, Geese, Bear, Bobcat, Coyote.

Royal Velvet: One of Canada's smallest miniature horse.
Lollipop and Luke: Our friendly miniature Sicilian Donkeys.
African Pygmy Goats and Kids, Bunnies, Guinea Pigs, Ducks, Chickens and much more are found at the Spruce Haven Petting Area.
And lets not forget the Clever, the tiny Vietnamese Pot-bellied Pig.
